Sam is a dedicated Wandsworth resident, family man, and Labour activist with over a decade of experience in housing and property. He has consistently championed safe, affordable homes, challenged poor service for residents, and worked to improve standards across the sector, driven by a strong belief that everyone, from young families to older residents, deserves to live well and with dignity.
He has a proven track record of public service, from serving as Lambeth’s Youth Mayor to supporting communities across Wandsworth and contributing to frontline efforts during the pandemic. Sam also has a strong personal connection to West Hill, including to the Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, where a close family member received exceptional and compassionate care. This experience has deepened his understanding of the importance of high-quality, compassionate local services for residents and their families.
He is focused on delivering better housing, safer neighbourhoods, and more responsive local services, while being a visible, approachable and accountable voice for the West Hill community.
