Sarah Davies is an active and listening councillor who has represented you in Wandsworth Town since her election in 2022. This kind and relatable person is a lifelong Londoner who has settled with her family in Wandsworth 15 years ago.
Sarah champions play and opportunities for children and young people. She worked for a national charity in communications, retrained as a teacher and now works for a local charity supporting families with babies and young children.
Her extensive experience supporting disadvantaged families, surmounting obstacles and improving opportunities informs her approach at the Council’s Children’s Committee and at the Housing Committee she Chairs.
She is proud to have led the initiative to introduce baby boxes to many parents in Wandsworth – a first for London.
She is immensely proud to represent your ward and work to make it a better place for everyone.
Listening to you she knows the different battles that people face and is committed to always pushing for change – big or small – that makes a difference to you.
A missing handrail is replaced on the East Hill Estate, lights are upgraded in the Old Burial Ground. Sarah campaigned and secured improvements to the Gasworks development. Wandsworth Town station will be accessible with a new entrance, three lifts and more stopping trains.
There are exciting times ahead with the Wandsworth Town Centre improvement projects and Sarah is very much looking forward to this!
