Thank you to everyone who signed my petition in 2020 for the temporary reopening of Hammersmith Bridge for pedestrians and for the full reopening to traffic. The bridge has been reopened for pedestrians but not for buses, cars and all vehicles so the campaign continues.

In Putney we face daily congestion, pollution and increased danger on our roads because of the 500 – 4000 extra vehicles using Putney Bridge.

The Government have still not agreed to fund the restoration of the Bridge, forcing Hammersmith and Fulham Council to make a plan for a toll bridge. Please sign this petition which I will present to the Government in Parliament.
