I have been working alongside residents, objecting to proposals by AELTC to insert an 8000 seater stadium and 37 qualifier courts into Wimbledon Park. I’ve released a video with more information (watch here) and would encourage all residents who care about public access to green space to sign the petition here.

I’m delighted that there has been a huge response with over 5,000 people having signed the petition so far. It is expected that Wandsworth and Merton Council Planning Committees will be voting on the proposals in November so now is the time to write to your Councillors to ask them to protect our park and green spaces.
