Salary: £26,000 – £31,000 (depending on experience)

Job Details
Fleur is looking for two Caseworkers to join her busy and friendly team working in Westminster with some travel to the Putney constituency (Zone 2) for meetings and surgeries.
Main duties:
• Organise surgeries and meetings and follow up as appropriate
• Draft responses to constituents on policy issues
• Gather relevant information to assist with resolving cases
• Log all cases; monitor progress and ensure all identified actions are taken
• Retain records and information confidentially and in line with the Data Protection Act and GDPR
• There may be a requirement for the role holder to work outside of the normal working hours and travel for work occasionally
Essential criteria:
• Ability to manage own workload, prioritise and work flexibly under pressure as part of a small team.
• Excellent IT, administrative and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of the key issues concerning people in Putney and an understanding of the local area.
• Interest in campaigning on local issues for change.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience of dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information.
• Understanding of and sympathy with the aims and goals of the Labour Party.
Desirable criteria
• Experience of working in parliament, local government or charities sectors with experience of managing casework
• Familiarity with Caseworker.mp software
• Good knowledge of Fleur’s key local campaigns
• Knowledge and understanding of the constituency of Putney, Roehampton, Southfields and Wandsworth Town.
