On Thursday 2nd May 2024 the London Mayoral and London Assembly elections take place. If you live in West Putney, then you have a councillor by-election to vote for too.

Jane Briginshaw is standing to be your Labour councillor. 

West Putney is a great place to live – a beautiful neighbourhood with a strong community and I believe Jane is the right choice for you. 

Jane is an architect with a passion for sustainability. She has worked in national government to deliver new schools and new affordable homes. She has also brought up her family in Wandsworth. She will be an amazing councillor – working hard to keep West Putney special as part of a Labour team that delivers the lowest Council Tax in the country, with better services for all.  

Wandsworth’s Labour Council:  

• Guaranteed weekly bin collections, free monthly Mega Skips and food waste collections for all West Putney streets this year.  
• Doubled investment in roads and pavements, doubled support for victims of domestic violence and provided more CCTV cameras. 
• Built two new libraries, invested in free school uniforms and allocated £15 million in Cost of Living support – the most generous response in London.  

Jane will support me in my campaigns to improve mobile phone reception here, and work with the police to take action on crime hotspots. The Tories have failed the country. The Government has now failed to fund the reopening of the Hammersmith Bridge for 5 years, letting down the people of West Putney. Let’s send this tired and out-of-touch government a message.
