In a slight move forward, the Government have agreed to fund £3 million in stabilisation works on the bridge and has re-affirmed their commitment to restoring the bridge to its ‘former glory’.

This is painfully slow, and I again asked the Government for more action. You can see my question here. Regrettably, they are still pointing the finger at Hammersmith & Fulham Council and the Mayor of London when they know it is only them who can pay for the bridge’s restoration.
